I loved the pictures in this book, they made me want to reach out and touch them...except for the tiger! I've read this book a couple of times and aside from being good for young kids, it is a pretty good match for an ESL student as well.
Easy to navigate on the kindle. Facts were short and easy to remember for 6 year old. Wish it was longer.
I am kinda old for this kind of book, but I got it to check on the concept of interactive books. I actually wrote one myself and I wanted to see what other books for the young folks looked like. Great way to hold a youngster's attention and this book was well formatted with good pictures and story line. Educational too and we need more of that in our entertainment electronics. Too much unhealthy stuff being fed to the young brains! Great job Victoria. Keep up the good brain food for this age group.
A fun quiz book filled with great pictures of animals. The quizzes are short, to the point and oh so much fun! My son really enjoyed do them and it didn't hurt one bit that he LOVES animals!
This book was perfect for kids! It keeps their interest and they learn at the same time. I loved the choices for kids to pick from and then they learn at the same time. Wonderful pictures and great enjoyment for kids! Pick up this gem for your child!
I am always amazed at how people can be so critical of an author's work especially since the author is not responsible for their child's development. This is an excellent book and I am glad to see that other reviewers agree with me. This book is well worth your time and investment and is very well written and concise. Kudos to the author for a very fine book.
I love any book that teaches while entertaining. This one does a very nice job of doing just that. It is very simple. You see a photo of an animal. You are given three choices for an answer, e.g., is it a CAT, DOG, MOUSE, and you make your selection. If your selection is incorrect, you are instructed to try again. Readily assimilable, interesting facts about the animal are included in the correct answer, while cute little comments are included in an incorrect answer. Charming and a very effective learning tool. Highly recommended.
